Parents of Pre-Teens:

Parenting Without Power Struggles; currently offered in the Comox Valley, Chilliwack, Victoria and Powell River, is a 10-week program for parents facing the challenges of raising their preteens (ages 10-13).

Why has parenting become so difficult?

Over the last 40 years, society has experienced many changes, subsequently resulting in the need for parents to acquire new and different parenting skills.

The group provides opportunities for parents to explore preteen issues, learn about adolescent development, and develop skills to strengthen family relationships in a supportive and confidential environment.
